The library’s online catalog is a database comprised of all the resources, books and other materials, housed within the library.


Databases are organized collections of data. The Southern Tech libraries subscribe to LIRN (Library & Information Resources Network) that houses hundreds of thousands of newspaper, magazine, and  journal articles specified for each programs educational need.

Self-service is an area to check-out  books & DVDS from the library, request to loan a book from another Southern Tech library, and/or request the library purchase a specific book. Once one of these forms is completed it automatically emails your librarian.  Please use the Check-out form for every book that you would like to check-out. If you need assistance and the librarian is unavailable, please ask the front desk receptionist for assistance. Please do not leave the library with a book without completing the check-out form.
